What is it?
Composition One vial (5 ml) contains: Active substance: Bacillus clausii antibiotic-polyresistant spores – 4 billion Excipient: Purified water – up to 5 ml Indications Treatment and prevention of intestinal dysbacteriosis Prevention of endogenous devitaminosis Support for the restoration of intestinal microflora during treatment with antibiotics or chemotherapy Contraindications Hypersensitivity to the active substance of the preparation or other ingredients Dosage and administration Administration: For oral administration only! Injection is not allowed Must be taken orally, not by other routes Dosage: Adults: 1 vial per day Daily dose: 4–6 billion Bacillus clausii spores Vial Enterogermina Forte 4 billion–5 ml does not provide If necessary, a doctor may prescribe a different dosage or a preparation of a different concentration For children, infants, and doses less than 4 billion: Vial 4 billion–5 ml does not provide adequate dosing Enterogermina of a different concentration will be required Instructions for use: Remove the vial from the strip Shake the vial well Unscrew the top part clockwise The contents can be diluted with water, milk, tea, or orange juice, or taken without prior dilution Special instructions When taking antibiotics, it is recommended to take Enterogermina Forte between two doses of the antibiotic (e.g., 2–3 hours after taking the other) Visible particles in the vial are caused by spore aggregates and do not indicate spoilage of the preparation The vial must be shaken well before administration Precautions For oral administration only Injection is not allowed Incomplete or incorrect use may cause allergic reactions, including anaphylactic shock After opening the vial, the preparation is not stored to avoid contamination of the suspension Pregnancy and lactation Administration is not restricted Possible side effects Allergic reactions: rash, urticaria Damage to skin and subcutaneous tissue: angioneurotic edema Form and description Dosage form: 5 ml polyethylene vial, 10 vials in a cardboard box Therapeutic form: Oral suspension Description: Opalescent, almost white liquid Storage conditions Store at ≤ 30°C, out of reach of children Shelf life: 2 years Must be used immediately after opening the vial Dispensing from pharmacy: Prescription Manufacturer Sanofi S.p.A., Italy
