What is it?
Composition: 100g of the preparation contains: Active substance: Polymethylsiloxane polyhydrate 70g. Excipients: Purified water 30g. Indications for use: As a detoxicating agent in adults and children: acute and chronic intoxication of various etiologies; severe poisoning with potent and toxic substances, including medicinal products and alcohol, alkaloids, heavy metal salts; within complex therapy for acute intestinal infections of any origin (toxic-infectious, salmonellosis, dysentery, diarrhea syndrome of infectious etiology, dysbacteriosis); within complex therapy for purulent-septic diseases with pronounced intoxication; food or drug allergies; hyperbilirubinemia (viral hepatitis) and hyperazotemia (chronic renal failure); for the prevention of chronic intoxication in subjects employed in hazardous industries (intoxication with chemical agents of polytropic action, xenobiotics, incorporated radionuclides, lead compounds, mercury, arsenic, petroleum products, organic solvents, nitrogen oxides, carbon, fluorides, heavy metal salts, related to professional activities). Contraindications: Individual intolerance to the preparation, intestinal atony. Administration during pregnancy and lactation: Enterosgel is not contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation. Method of administration and dosage: Enterosgel paste is taken orally, with an interval of 1-2 hours between food or other preparations, and should be followed by water. It is recommended to dissolve the required amount of the preparation in a glass with three times the amount of room temperature water, or take it orally and follow with water. Dosage for adults: 15g-22.5g (1-1.5 tablespoons) 3 times a day. Daily dose 45g-67.5g. Dosage for children aged 5-14 years: 15g (1 tablespoon) 3 times a day. Daily dose 45g. Dosage for children under 5 years: 7.5g (0.5 tablespoons) 3 times a day. Daily dose 22.5g. For breastfed infants, it is recommended to dissolve 2.5g (0.5 teaspoons) of the preparation in three times the amount of milk or water, to be taken before each feeding (6 times a day). For the prevention of chronic intoxication, a dose of 22.5g is prescribed twice a day for 7-10 days every month. In case of acute intoxication, the dose of the preparation can be doubled during the first three days. The duration of treatment for severe poisoning is 3-5 days, and for chronic intoxication and allergic conditions, it is 2-3 weeks. The course of treatment can be repeated according to the doctor's recommendation. Side effects: Vomiting, constipation may be observed. In case of acute kidney and/or liver failure, a feeling of aversion to the preparation is expected. If any side effects occur, including those not listed in this instruction, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Interaction with other drugs: When taken with Enterosgel, the absorption of other drugs may be reduced. Special instructions: The preparation can be taken as part of complex therapy with other drugs, provided a 2-hour interval is maintained. Dosage form: Ten 15g sachets for oral administration are placed in a cardboard box with instructions for use. Storage conditions: Store at a temperature of not less than 4°C and not more than 30°C, out of reach of children. After opening the package, it should be protected from drying out. Freezing is not allowed. Shelf life: 3 years. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging. Dispensing: Over-the-counter.
