Method of administration and dosage: Method of administration: Shake before use. Keep the can in a vertical position during administration. For external use by women and men, the preparation is sprayed onto the affected surface from a distance of 4-5 cm by pressing the spray valve. Recommendations for women: A special applicator is included for vaginal administration of the preparation. It is a hollow tube 7 cm long, with a sprayer at one end and a valve at the other. Wash the applicator with running water and soap before use. Remove the valve from the spray can and attach the applicator valve. Then, insert the applicator into the vagina while lying down. The preparation is administered with 3-4 sprays. Remain in a lying position for 5-10 minutes. Then, remove the applicator from the can and wash it with running water and soap. Store the applicator in the enclosed polyethylene packaging. Recommendations for men: When used by men, the preparation is not only sprayed on the external surface but should also be sprayed into the external opening of the urethra from a distance of 0.5-1 cm with 1-2 presses of the spray valve. Herpes simplex viral infection: External use of the preparation is recommended 6 times a day for 5 days. In case of severe course of viral infectious process, the duration of treatment continues until complete disappearance of disease symptoms. In case of extragenital clinical manifestations of herpes viral infection on the skin around the genitals and in the perianal area, the preparation is administered according to the same scheme. For treatment of severe forms and frequent recurrent viral infections, in addition to external genital treatment, the preparation is used vaginally 2-3 times a day for 6-10 days. For prevention of recurrence, it is recommended to use the preparation externally and vaginally from the 18th-20th day of the menstrual cycle, 2 times a day, morning and evening. Herpes zoster: Administration of the preparation is recommended 6 times a day until complete disappearance of disease symptoms. Human papillomavirus infection: For localization of papillomas on the genitals, around the genitals, and in the perianal area, administration of the preparation is recommended 6 times a day for 5-7 days. For localization of papillomas in the vagina, administration of the preparation is recommended vaginally 3 times a day for 5 days. Removal of remaining pointed and papillary formations is carried out by physical or chemical destruction, after which a repeated course of treatment of epithelizing sections with Epigen is performed. Nonspecific colpitis and vaginosis, normalization of vaginal microflora: Administration of the preparation is recommended vaginally 3-4 times a day for 7-10 days. If necessary, repeat the course of treatment after 10 days. As an antiviral and anti-inflammatory prophylactic agent: Administration of the preparation is recommended before and after sexual intercourse.
