What is it?
Name - Expigment Cream 4% 30g Tube /TR/ #1 What is Expigment and what is it used for? • Expigment is a preparation intended for external use on the skin surface. It belongs to a group of dermatological preparations. • 1 gram of Expigment contains 40 mg of hydroquinone as the active substance. Hydroquinone is a substance that lightens skin color. • Expigment is presented in an aluminum tube containing 30g of cream, sealed with a plastic cap. • Expigment is used to lighten areas of dark skin (hyperpigmentation). The active substance of Expigment, hydroquinone, works by slowing down the production of melanin, the substance that gives skin its color. By reducing melanin pigments, darkened areas of the skin gradually return to their normal color. How is Expigment used? • Correct use and dosages/frequency of use and instructions: Unless your doctor gives you other instructions, use Expigment as follows: Apply to the skin surface twice a day, morning and evening. If no improvement is observed after 2 months of treatment, stop using the medicine and consult your doctor. Method of administration: Used by applying to the skin surface. Apply Expigment in a thin layer only to the affected areas of the skin (areas with altered skin color). Avoid exposure to sunlight during the period of using the medicine and use sunscreen on the treated areas or protect these areas with clothing. Inform your doctor if any of the following occur: Rare: • Mild burning • Tingling sensation • Redness • Dryness Very rare: • Development of blisters (fluid-filled blisters) • Skin cracking • Change in skin color to blue-black The above are mild side effects of Expigment. Storage of Expigment Store Expigment in its packaging, out of reach of children, in a place inaccessible to them.
