What is it?
Name - Equidral 8g #10 Sachets Composition Bioecolians® (Glucooligosaccharides), Sodium Citrate Dihydrate, Potassium Citrate Monohydrate, Sodium Chloride, Orange Flavor, Potassium Chloride, Zinc Gluconate - 10 mg per sachet Zinc: Reduces the frequency and severity of episodes and duration of diarrhea. It has antimicrobial activity against intestinal pathogens (Salmonella typhi, Salmonella, E. coli, Enterobacter, Shigella, Staphylococcus albus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Vibrio cholerae) and has potential for diarrhea treatment. The use of zinc, in addition to oral rehydration solution (ORS), has the potential to improve diarrhea treatment and reduce complications. Recommendation Equidral - a biologically active supplement of mineral salts and zinc, recommended for the treatment of dehydration caused by acute diarrhea, restoration of electrolyte imbalance, and against vomiting. Dosage The contents of one sachet are dissolved in 250 ml of water or 2 sachets in 500 ml of water. Maximum dosage: 2 sachets per day. Warning: Store in a cool, dry place. The expiry date refers to the product in an intact package, stored correctly. Keep out of reach of children. The product contains high doses of sugar and sodium, therefore it is not recommended for hypertension.
