What is it?
Each 5 ml of syrup contains: Iron (III) hydroxide polymaltose complex - equivalent to 50 mg elemental iron, Folic acid .... 50 mcg., Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) .... 0.7 mcg. Indications: *Iron deficiency anemias: prophylaxis and treatment - post-hemorrhagic (menorrhagia, chronic bleeding from GI tract, etc.); - increased iron demand (pregnancy, lactation, intensive growth and development period, blood donation) - treatment and prophylaxis; - insufficient iron intake, or impaired absorption (chronic diarrhea, helminthiasis); Contraindications: Anemias not associated with iron deficiency (hemolytic - acquired or congenital), hemochromatosis, acute phase of gastric and duodenal ulcer disease, inflammatory bowel diseases (Crohn's disease, non-specific ulcerative colitis). Dosage: 0 - 1 year: 2.5 - 5 ml. once daily; 1 - 12 years: 5 - 10 ml. once daily; Above 12 years: 20 ml. once daily. Take during or immediately after meals. Eurofarma capsules are taken by individuals over 12 years of age and adults, one capsule once or twice daily, forty minutes before meals. Storage: Store at room temperature below 25°C.
