What is it?
Fastenali Composition: Active substance: Ketoprofen lysine salt; 1 double-ended sachet contains 80 mg of ketoprofen lysine salt, equivalent to 50 mg of ketoprofen; Excipients: Sorbitol (Neosorb P60) (E 420), Sorbitol (Neosorb P30/P60) (E 420), Povidone, Colloidal anhydrous silica, Sodium chloride, Sodium saccharin, Ammonium glycyrrhizate, Mint flavor. Therapeutic indications Adults: Symptomatic treatment of inflammatory processes accompanied by pain in rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, painful osteoarthritis, extra-articular rheumatism, post-traumatic inflammation, painful inflammatory diseases in dentistry, otolaryngology, urology, and pneumology. Children: Short-term symptomatic treatment of inflammatory processes accompanied by pain and fever in the following conditions: musculoskeletal disorders, post-operative pain, and otitis. Dosage and method of administration Adults: 80 mg sachet (full dose), dissolve in 100 ml of water, stir and take orally 3 times a day during meals. The maximum daily dose is 200 mg of ketoprofen, which corresponds to 320 mg of ketoprofen lysine salt. When starting treatment with a daily dose of 200 mg of ketoprofen, the benefit-risk ratio needs to be discussed in detail; higher doses are not recommended. Children aged 6-14 years: contents of a double-ended sachet, 40 mg (half dose), dissolve in 100 ml of water, stir and take orally 3 times a day during meals. Not to be used in children under 6 years of age. Elderly: The dose is determined by the doctor, who should assess the need for a possible dose reduction in accordance with the instructions below. Patients with impaired liver function: It is recommended to start treatment with the minimum daily dose. Patients with mild to moderate renal impairment: A reduction in the initial dose and maintenance therapy with the minimum effective dose is recommended. Individual dose adjustment can only be considered after confirmation of good tolerability of the preparation. Diuresis and kidney function should be monitored. The preparation cannot be used in patients with acute liver and kidney dysfunction. Use the lowest effective dose to relieve symptoms for the shortest possible duration. How to use the sachet: To obtain half a dose (40 mg), open the sachet along the "half dose" line. To obtain the full dose (80 mg), open the sachet along the "full dose" line. Dissolve the contents of one sachet or half a sachet in 100 ml of water and stir. Pediatric population Not to be used in children under 6 years of age. Special precautions for storage: This medicinal product does not require special storage conditions. Keep out of reach of children!
