What is it?

International Nonproprietary Name - ketoprofen Clinical-pharmacological group: Anti-inflammatory agents → Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs → Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for external use Fastum gel contains a medicinal substance called ketoprofen, which belongs to the group of drugs called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). These drugs reduce inflammation and pain. Fastum gel is used for local treatment of rheumatic and traumatic pain of muscles, bones, or joints, for example: bruises, sprains, muscle strains, stiff neck, lumbago. Fastum gel is used only in adults and children from 12 years of age. How to use Fastum gel. Fastum gel is used according to the following instructions: • Tube: Remove the cap and pierce the aluminum membrane with the spike on the other side of the cap. • Pump dispenser: For the first use, press the dispenser cap or the bottom of the container several times until the gel comes out. It is recommended to hold the dispenser horizontally during use. Amount of gel to use and frequency of use Dispense 5-10 cm of gel from the tube or press the dispenser cap twice (2 g). Apply the given amount of gel to the affected area 1-3 times a day. How and where to use Fastum gel • Fastum gel is intended for external use only. • Distribute the gel over the affected area with light massage movements. • Wash your hands immediately after application. • It is not recommended to use this medicine in very large quantities. In case of using very large quantities of Fastum gel When Fastum gel is used externally (on the skin), a very small amount of it enters the bloodstream, so overdose is unlikely to cause any symptoms.
