What is it?
Composition: Fluconazole Indications: - Vaginal fungal infections - Skin and nail fungal infections, including tinea pedis, tinea corporis, tinea cruris, onychomycosis - Prevention of fungal infections in immunocompromised patients - Generalized candidiasis (candidemia, peritoneal candidiasis, endocarditis, ocular, respiratory, and genitourinary candidiasis) - Mucosal candidiasis, including oral and pharyngeal candidiasis, esophageal candidiasis, candiduria, chronic atrophic candidiasis (associated with denture use) - Prevention of fungal infections in patients with malignant tumors following chemotherapy and radiotherapy Fluconazole 150 mg Dosage and Administration: Take at any time of day or night. In most patients, symptom improvement is observed within 24 hours of taking the capsule. If symptoms do not improve within 3 to 5 days, consult a doctor. Possible Side Effects: Clinical studies of Fluconazole capsules have shown that the most common side effects are headache, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. The most frequently observed side effects are generally mild and transient. In rare cases, severe allergic reactions may occur. Precautions: - Allergy to this medication or other antifungal medications in the same class. - If the patient is pregnant or suspects pregnancy, or is breastfeeding, consult a doctor before use. Reliable contraception is recommended, as the effect of this medication on fetal development is unknown. - If the patient is taking antihistamines such as terfenadine (Seldane) or astemizole (Hismanal), or cisapride (Prepulsid), consult a doctor before taking this medication. - Inform your doctor if the patient is taking medications for diabetes, epilepsy, or blood thinners.
