International Nonproprietary Name - carbocysteine lysine salt Clinical-pharmacological group: Pulmonology → Mucolytics and antitussives → Mucolytics and expectorants What is Fluifort® Sachet and what is it used for Fluifort® Sachet contains S-methyl carbocisteine lysine salt as an active substance, which is a mucoregulator with mucus-thinning properties. It is effective for hyper- and hypoviscous mucus, in acute diseases of the upper and lower respiratory tract and ENT diseases. How to use Fluifort® Sachet The usual dosage is given below: Adults: 1 sachet per day or as prescribed by a doctor. Method of administration Dissolve the contents of the sachet in half a glass of water, stir well. Children: Fluifort® Sachet is not used in children. Fluifort® Syrup is used in children. Patients with liver and kidney diseases: The preparation is taken in usual doses. Patients with diabetes mellitus: Fluifort® contains mannitol, therefore it can be taken by patients with diabetes mellitus. Fluifort® can be taken for a long period of time, in which case consider your doctor's recommendations. What does Fluifort® Sachet contain - Active substance is S-methyl carbocisteine lysine salt - Other ingredients are: aspartame, povidone K30, anhydrous citric acid, natural cedar powder, orange powder, mannitol. What Fluifort® Sachet looks like and what it contains: Fluifort® Sachet is a yellowish powder with an orange scent. The box contains 50 sachets.
