What is it?

International Name - Beclomethasone+Clotrim.+Gent.+Idochlohyd Composition: Beclomethasone Dipropionate BP 0.025% w/w Gentamicin Sulfate BP 0.1% w/w Clotrimazole BP 1.0% w/w Iodochlorhydroxyquinoline 1.0% w/w Cream Base Indications: Forderm Cream is indicated for fungal infections of the skin, including mycoses, dermatitis, eczema, neurodermatitis, epidermatophytosis, jock itch, otomycosis, mixed vaginitis, vulvitis, and colpitis, as well as interdigital fungal infections. It is also indicated for vaginal candidiasis and pyogenic skin infections. Apply to the skin as a cream. Apply to the affected area twice or thrice daily. Contraindications: Forderm Cream is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation, and in cases of cutaneous tuberculosis and viral skin diseases. Do not use in the eyes. Dosage and Administration: Dermatophyte infections: Treatment for at least one month. Candidiasis infections: Treatment for at least two weeks. Route of administration: Apply directly to the affected area. Wash hands after application. Precautions and Warnings: Precautions Systemic corticosteroid effects Development of possible signs and symptoms of Cushing's syndrome (e.g., hypertension, glucose intolerance, cushingoid features) in patients particularly susceptible to the effects of corticosteroids, or when the preparation used exceeds usual doses. Closely monitor neonates for signs of hypoadrenalism following prenatal corticosteroid exposure. Effects on the eye Rare reports of glaucoma, increased intraocular pressure, and development of cataracts. Other effects Long-term systemic and local effects of the preparation in humans are unknown, particularly regarding the development of immunological processes in the oral cavity, throat, trachea, and lungs. Warnings Systemic withdrawal of corticosteroid treatment: Symptoms of systemic withdrawal of corticosteroid treatment may develop (e.g., joint pain, muscle pain, malaise, depression); acute adrenal insufficiency; life-threatening exacerbation of asthma; pulmonary infiltration with eosinophilia; or symptomatic exacerbation of allergic conditions if long-term systemic corticosteroid therapy is replaced by inhaled corticosteroid therapy. Such symptoms may be observed particularly in patients using more than 20 mg of prednisone per day (or its equivalent), especially during the final period of substitution.
