What is it?

International Nonproprietary Name - nitrofural, tetracaine hydrochloride, phenazone Clinical-pharmacological group: Otorhinolaryngology → Antimicrobials and anti-inflammatory agents for topical use What does Furotalgine contain - Active ingredients: nitrofural 2.5 mg, tetracaine hydrochloride 31.25 mg, phenazone 87.5 mg per 1 ml of solution. - Other ingredient – glycerol. What does Furotalgine look like and what does the packaging contain Transparent, yellow liquid with a greenish tint, odorless. Primary packaging The preparation in a volume of 5 ml is placed in a round vial made of brown glass. The vial is closed with a screw cap with a dropper. The preparation in a volume of 5 ml is placed in a round polypropylene vial. The vial has a dropper and is closed with a "pilfer-proof" type cap. Secondary packaging 1 (one) vial with the preparation's instructions for use is placed in a cardboard box. What is Furotalgine and what is it used for? Furotalgine is an antimicrobial, combined medicinal preparation with anti-inflammatory and analgesic action. It is used in case of acute inflammatory processes of the auditory tube and middle ear. What to consider before using Furotalgine Do not use Furotalgine: - If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active (nitrofural, tetracaine, phenazone) or auxiliary substances; - The doctor will not prescribe Furotalgine if your eardrum is damaged or the ear infection is caused by fungus (otomycosis).
