Properties

What is it?

Composition: Each ml contains as active ingredient: 1.5 mg Benzydamine hydrochloride. Excipients: Methylparahydroxybenzoate, Glycerol, Ethanol 96%, Sodium saccharin, Sodium bicarbonate, Polysorbate 60, Mint oil 27198-14, Quinoline yellow 70E104, Indigotine 85E132, Purified water. Pharmacotherapeutic group: Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug for topical use in ENT practice and dentistry. Indications: Inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and ENT organs: gingivitis, glossitis, stomatitis, angina, pharyngitis, laryngitis, tonsillitis; adjunctive therapy for fungal infections; sialoadenitis; after surgical interventions and trauma, including tonsillectomy, mandibular fracture; after dental treatment or extraction; periodontitis. Dosage and administration: For adults and the elderly: 4-8 doses every 1.5-3 hours; for children aged 6-12 years: up to 4 doses every 1.5-3 hours; for children aged 3-6 years: 1-4 doses every 1.5-3 hours; the bottle should be placed vertically, the dispenser cap should be rotated left or right at a 90-degree angle to the bottle. The dispenser should be placed in the oral cavity and pressed several times according to the recommended dose. The interval between two presses should be at least 5 seconds. After use, the dispenser should be returned to its original position. When using the bottle for the first time, it should be sprayed into the air several times. The patient should not stop treatment arbitrarily or change the doctor's prescription. In case of a missed dose, the missed dose should be taken as soon as remembered, and if it is already time for the next dose, the forgotten dose should be skipped and treatment should continue according to the usual schedule. The recommended dose should not be exceeded. Side effects: Dry mouth, numbness, burning sensation in the oral cavity. Skin rash, increased photosensitivity, itching, urticaria. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation; children under 3 years of age. Interactions with other drugs: Not established. Special instructions: Treatment with Gervetin should not exceed 7 days, except in cases recommended by a doctor. In infectious-inflammatory diseases, it is necessary to use it as part of combination therapy. The preparation should not come into contact with the eyes.
