- BILOBIL International name Ginko biloba Dosage form Capsules Composition 1 capsule contains: Dry extract of Ginkgo biloba leaves – 40 mg (standardized to contain 9.6 mg ginkgo flavone glycosides and 2.4 mg terpene lactones (ginkgolides and bilobalides) in 40 mg). Pharmacological properties Biologically active substances of Ginkgo biloba leaves (flavone glycosides, terpene lactones) help reduce vascular wall permeability, prevent platelet aggregation. As a result, microcirculation, oxygen and glucose supply to the brain and peripheral tissues are improved. Indications for use The drug is prescribed for elderly individuals with impaired cerebral blood circulation, accompanied by: - Impaired attention and/or memory, impaired intellectual abilities, - Anxiety, feeling of fear, - Dizziness, tinnitus, sleep disturbances. It is also prescribed for impaired blood circulation in the lower extremities. Contraindications Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug, decreased blood clotting, erosive gastritis, peptic ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum in the exacerbation stage, childhood (up to 18 years). Dosage and administration The drug is taken orally 1 capsule 3 times a day. Capsules should be swallowed with a small amount of water. The course of treatment is not less than 3 months. The first signs of improvement usually appear within 1 month. A repeated course can be carried out after consulting a doctor. Side effects In rare cases, allergic reactions (skin rash), dyspepsia, headache, decreased blood clotting may occur. Pregnancy and lactation Administration of Bilobil during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended. Overdose To date, no cases of Bilobil overdose have been reported. Dosage form 40 mg capsules, 10 capsules in a blister. 2 or 6 blisters in a pack. Storage conditions Store in a dry, light-protected place inaccessible to children at a temperature not exceeding 25ºC. Фармакологические свойства Биологически активные вещества листьев гинкго билоба (флавоногликозиды, терпеновые лактоны) способствуют снижению проницаемости сосудистой стенки, препятствуют агрегации тромбоцитов. В результате улучшается микроциркуляция, снабжение мозга и периферических тканей кислородом и глюкозой. Показания к применению Препарат назначают пожилым лицам с нарушениями мозгового кровообращения, сопровождающимися: - нарушением внимания и/или памяти, нарушением интеллектуальных способностей, - ощущением тревоги, страха, - головокружением, шумом в ушах, нарушениями сна. Также назначается при нарушениях кровообращения нижних конечностей. Противопоказания Гиперчувствительность к любому компоненту препарата, снижение свертываемости крови, эрозивный гастрит, язвенная болезнь желудка и двенадцатиперстной кишки в стадии обострения, детский возраст (до 18 лет). Способ применения и дозы Препарат назначают внутрь по 1 капсуле 3 раза в день. Капсулы следует проглатывать, запивая небольшим количеством воды. Курс лечения составляет не менее 3 месяцев. Первые признаки улучшения обычно проявляются через 1 месяц. Повторный курс можно проводить после консультации с врачом. Побочное действие В редких случаях возможны аллергические реакции (сыпь на коже), диспепсия, головная боль, снижение свертываемости крови. Беременность и лактация Назначение Билобил в период беременности и лактации не рекомендуется. Передозировка На сегодняшний день случаи передозировки препарата Билобил не известны. Форма выпуска Капсулы 40 мг, 10 капсул в блистере. В упаковке 2 или 6 блистеров. Условия хранения Хранить в сухом, защищенном от света, недоступном для детей месте при температуре не выше 25ºC.
