What is it?
Composition (100g): Active substance - Hydrocortisone acetate 1g; Oxytetracycline hydrochloride 3g; Inactive ingredients: Methylparahydroxybenzoate; Petrolatum. Indications: Skin diseases responsive to glucocorticosteroid therapy and complicated by secondary bacterial infection caused by microorganisms sensitive to oxytetracycline. Dermatitis (allergic, contact, seborrheic, solar, atopic), eczema, superficial burns and frostbite, insect bites. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation, skin tumors, precancerous conditions, mycosis, viral skin diseases (herpes, chickenpox), pregnancy, lactation (when applied to large affected areas). Dosage and administration: For topical, external use. Apply 0.5-1g of ointment in a thin layer to the affected skin area 1-3 times a day, or under a sterile gauze dressing. Duration of treatment is individual. Possible side effects: In isolated cases, allergic reactions, skin irritation, itching, rash may occur. Prolonged use or application to large skin areas may lead to systemic side effects of glucocorticosteroids (GCS). When applied to facial skin, telangiectasias, atrophy of subcutaneous tissue in the perioral area may occur. Special instructions: During treatment with glucocorticosteroids, vaccination against chickenpox or any other type of immunization is not recommended (due to the immunosuppressive effect of GCS). In children, avoid applying the preparation to large areas and under occlusive dressings. If the preparation needs to be applied to facial skin, treatment should be short-term due to high absorption and the risk of side effects. Use during pregnancy or lactation: The preparation is not used during pregnancy and lactation. Use in children: The preparation is used in children, taking into account all the above indications. Effect on ability to drive or operate machinery: The preparation does not affect the ability to drive vehicles or operate complex machinery. Overdose: No cases of single overdose have been described, however, prolonged use of the preparation is not recommended. Storage: Store in original packaging, at a temperature not exceeding 25C, protected from light and inaccessible to children. Shelf life: 3 years. Packaging: 10g ointment in an aluminum tube. 1 tube in a cardboard box with instructions for use.
