What is it?
Indications: Calendula tincture is used topically as an antiseptic for infected (purulent) wounds, abrasions, skin burns, and inflammation of the mucous membranes of the mouth, gums (stomatitis, gingivitis), pharynx, and tonsils (pharyngitis, angina). It is used orally as a choleretic agent for biliary dyskinesia, cholangitis, and cholecystitis (as part of complex therapy). Dosage: Calendula tincture is taken orally 15-30 minutes before meals, diluted in a small amount of warm boiled water. If there is no other treatment regimen prescribed by a doctor, it is recommended for adults to take 10-20 drops of the tincture 3-4 times a day for 1 month. For children over 12 years old, 1 drop of the tincture per year of age. For mouth rinsing, 1 teaspoon of calendula tincture is diluted in a glass of warm boiled water. It is used in the form of applications for inflammation of the oral mucosa. The method of using the preparation for topical applications depends on the nature of the skin damage and is determined by the doctor. Contraindications: Calendula tincture is contraindicated in case of individual intolerance to any component of the preparation. Since the preparation contains ethyl alcohol, its use is not recommended for prolonged periods, as well as in children under 12 years of age and in women during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Pregnancy and lactation: Contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation. Storage conditions: Store in a place inaccessible to children, protected from light, at temperatures between +15°C and +25°C. Sediment formation is permissible during storage.
