What is it?
Composition: Active substance: 1 g of ointment contains 100 mg of calendula tincture. Excipients: Vaseline, emulsifiers (cetostearyl alcohol, type B), purified water. Indication: The preparation has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial properties and wound healing ability. It is indicated for topical symptomatic treatment of lightly damaged skin, minor cuts, and minor inflammatory skin processes. Contraindication: Hypersensitive (allergic) to calendula flowers or other species of the Asteraceae family (such as wormwood) or to any other ingredient in the preparation. Do not use in patients with eczema, for deep wounds, as the upper part of the wound may close, but the deep part remains unhealed. Use with caution: The use of the preparation is not recommended in children under 12 years of age. If symptoms worsen or do not improve within 1 week, inform your doctor. Allergic reactions may occur during treatment with the preparation. Pregnancy and lactation: The preparation is not used during pregnancy and lactation. Special indication: The preparation contains cetostearyl alcohol, which may cause local skin irritation (e.g., contact dermatitis). Method of use: The preparation should always be used as directed by your doctor. For external use. In adolescents, adults, and elderly patients: Apply to the affected area 2-4 times a day. Data on the use of the preparation in children under 12 years of age are limited. Inform your doctor if symptoms worsen or do not improve within 1 week.
