Composition: 5 ml syrup contains: Fructooligosaccharides (FOS*) - 400.5 mg Plum juice - 272.5 mg Hibiscus flowers (Hibiscus sabdariffa) - 82 mg Magnesium citrate - 47 mg Rhubarb root (Rheum palmatum) - 16.5 mg Mallow flowers (Malva sylvestris) - 11 mg Excipients: Water, Glycerin, Blackcurrant flavoring, Potassium sorbate, Sodium benzoate, Citric acid. *FOS - Prebiotics that ensure the restoration of normal intestinal microflora. Physiological action: Laxative, regulates normal bowel evacuation. Through its plant components, Heliolax stimulates gastrointestinal tract motility, improves the defecation process. FOS - Fructooligosaccharides are a nutrient medium for normal intestinal microflora, promoting rapid colonization of bifidobacteria. Bifidobacteria crowd out pathogenic bacteria, thereby eliminating symptoms of dysbacteriosis. Plum juice contains fructose, glucose, vitamins, potassium, phosphorus, calcium, magnesium, iron, manganese, copper, zinc, pectins, nitrogenous and astringent substances, apple and citric organic acids. Plum juice enhances appetite, stimulates intestinal peristalsis, normalizes the motor-secretory function of the gastrointestinal tract, and has a mild laxative effect. Hibiscus flowers contain biologically active substances, including organic acids (citric, malic, hibiscus), polysaccharides, anthocyanins, flavonoids, macro- and microelements. It improves appetite, has a mild laxative, antispasmodic, choleretic, antimicrobial, and anthelmintic effect. Flavonoids in hibiscus flowers cleanse the body of decomposition products formed by metabolism and toxins. Anthocyanins strengthen blood vessel walls and regulate blood pressure. Due to its high content of ascorbic acid, it strengthens the immune system, increasing the body's protective function against viral and infectious diseases. Magnesium citrate is an important source of magnesium, an essential intracellular element for the body. Magnesium citrate is effectively used as a laxative for bowel evacuation. When taken orally, magnesium citrate retains a large amount of water in the intestinal lumen, increasing the volume of intestinal contents, thereby stimulating intestinal function: increasing intestinal motor activity and accelerating evacuation. Magnesium citrate also has a wide range of pharmacological effects: choleretic, analgesic, sedative, hypnotic, anticonvulsant, antiarrhythmic, anti-osteoporotic, etc. Approximately 300 enzymes depend on magnesium. Therefore, magnesium deficiency is a significant factor in the pathogenesis of certain diseases. Rhubarb root contains glycosides: tanogylcosides and anthraglycosides, chrysophanic acid, pectins, ascorutin acid, etc. It exhibits a laxative effect in intestinal atony, spastic constipation, constipation in children and pregnant women, hemorrhoids, and anal fissures. It improves defecation. The mechanism of action is due to anthraquinones, which are the most common laxatives. Anthraquinones irritate the mucous membrane of the large intestine, directly stimulate the submucosal (mesenteric) nerve plexus and smooth musculature, enhance peristalsis and increase fluid volume in the intestine, and have an anti-absorptive effect, resulting in preventing hardening of fecal masses. Mallow flowers contain a large amount of mucilaginous substances, sugar, carotene, vitamin C, etc. It has a laxative, emollient, and anti-inflammatory effect. Indications: Prevention and treatment of constipation of various etiologies. Intestinal dysbacteriosis. Hemorrhoids, anal fissures. Dosage and administration: Shake the bottle before use.
