What is it?
Hemorrhoid Relief Ointment Composition: Active ingredient: Lidocaine Hydrochloride 0.5% w.w, Allantoin 0.5% w.w. Excipients: White Soft Paraffin, Lanolin, Purified Water. Pharmacotherapeutic group: Local anesthetic. Indications: Hemorrhoidal nodes and associated pain and irritation. Dosage and administration: Hands must be washed before and after using the preparation. The patient should wash the affected area with cool water, dry it, and apply the ointment with a finger, gauze, or other dressing material to the hemorrhoidal node. The ointment can be reapplied as needed. Do not allow the preparation to come into contact with the eyes. Side effects: Allergic reactions - rash, itching. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any component. Age under 12 years. Special instructions: Do not use in children under 12 years of age, except as directed by a doctor. For external use only. If symptoms persist for more than 7 days, consult a doctor. Patients should consult a doctor if the following occur: symptoms do not resolve after 7 days of ointment use; prolonged pain or bleeding from the anus, especially when associated with a change in bowel habits; swollen abdomen or weight loss. Pregnancy and lactation: Consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking the preparation during pregnancy or lactation. Lidocaine, a component of the preparation, is absorbed through the skin and passes into breast milk. Overdose: If the patient accidentally swallows the preparation, seek immediate medical attention. Appearance and packaging: Hemorrhoid Relief Ointment is a soft white translucent cream. Packaged in a 25 g tube. Storage conditions: Store the preparation out of reach of children, at a temperature not exceeding 25C. Do not dispose of the preparation in wastewater or household waste.
