What is it?
Dosage forms: Ointment for external use, rectal suppositories. Composition 1 g of ointment contains: Heparin sodium - 65 IU, Prednisolone acetate - 2.233 mg, Polidocanol - 30 mg. Excipients: Solid paraffin, Adhesive paraffin, Anhydrous lanolin, Silicon dioxide. 1 suppository contains: Heparin sodium - 120 IU, Prednisolone acetate - 1.675 mg, Polidocanol - 30 mg. Excipients: Macrogol 812, Silicon dioxide, Novata B, Glyceryl tristearate. Description Ointment: Yellowish-white semi-transparent, jelly-like ointment with a characteristic odor. Suppository: White, stick-shaped; homogeneous white suppository on fracture. Pharmacotherapeutic group: Antihemorrhoidal agent ATC code: C05BA53 Pharmacological action Combined preparation. Heparin - direct-acting anticoagulant, when applied topically, has local antithrombotic, antiexudative, and moderate anti-inflammatory effects; promotes connective tissue regeneration; prevents blood clotting in hemorrhoidal nodes. Prednisolone - glucocorticoid, has anti-inflammatory, antiexudative, and anti-allergic effects, reduces inflammation and accompanying subjective symptoms (itching, burning, pain) in the anorectal area. Polidocanol has a local anesthetic effect and provides sclerotherapy of hemorrhoidal nodes. Indications for use External and internal hemorrhoids. Thrombophlebitis of the veins of the posterior body. Fistulas, eczema, and itching in the anal area. Contraindications Hypersensitivity, bacterial, viral, fungal skin lesions, tuberculosis, syphilis; skin tumors, pregnancy (I trimester), reactions to vaccine administration; tendency to bleeding. Method of administration and dosage Externally, apply ointment in a thin layer to the affected areas 2-4 times a day; after disappearance of pain sensations - once a day for 7 days. Rectally, insert suppositories 1-2 times a day into the rectal cavity after defecation. For ointment administration, use the screw-on tip, which is inserted into the rectal cavity, and a small amount of ointment is released by light pressure on the tube. Side effects Allergic reactions, skin hyperemia. With prolonged use and/or application to large areas, systemic side effects may develop. Special instructions When applied in large quantities to damaged skin or mucous membranes, a slowdown in regeneration processes is observed. Release form 20 g of ointment in an aluminum tube with a plastic screw-on cap. The tube opening is protected by an aluminum membrane. The cap is a monolithic structure, with the possibility of piercing the membrane. Tube with screw-on tip and instructions for use in a cardboard box.
