What is it?
International Nonproprietary Name - Natrii hyaluronatum Product Information: The vaginal epithelium is soft and elastic, maintaining adequate moisture and lubrication. At certain life stages (postpartum, during breastfeeding, during menopause), as well as due to oral contraceptive use, chemotherapy, or stress, the vaginal mucosa's resilience changes, leading to dryness, itching, burning, and irritation, often causing infections. Hyalogin quickly relieves symptoms of dryness and restores the elasticity of the vaginal mucosa. Hyalogin is a colorless, odorless gel containing Hydeal-D, an ether compound of hyaluronic acid, which provides longer-lasting and more effective action than plain hyaluronic acid. It maintains the elasticity of vaginal tissue, accelerates healing, and promotes epithelial regeneration. Hyalogin restores normal vaginal pH and protects the genitourinary system from infections. Hyaluronic acid is a component of collagen fibers and increases vaginal muscle tone. It is an antioxidant, protecting vaginal epithelial cells from damage. Dosage Form: 30 g tube with 10 single-use applicators. Composition: Active Ingredient: Hydeal-D 0.2% (hyaluronic acid ether compound) Other Components: Propylene glycol, carbomer, methyl-p-hydroxybenzoate, propyl-p-hydroxybenzoate, sodium hydroxide, distilled water. Indications: • Vaginal dryness of any origin (postpartum, during breastfeeding, menopause, stress, oral contraceptive use, radiation and chemotherapy, post-oophorectomy (post-castration syndrome), diabetes mellitus) • Atrophic vaginitis • Burning, itching caused by vaginal dryness • Vaginal abrasions, micro-tears • Dyspareunia (pain during sexual intercourse) • Hyalogin accelerates mucosal regeneration after destructive treatment of the cervix. Hyalogin is hormone-free, making it safe and recommended for oncological patients. Instructions for Use: 1. Screw the applicator tightly onto the tube opening. 2. Squeeze the tube and fill the applicator until the plunger stops (the plunger has a mark that stops its movement). 3. Remove the applicator and insert it into the vagina, while sitting or lying on your back. 4. Insert the entire gel into the vagina. 5. In cases of severe dryness, it is recommended to lubricate the applicator with gel before insertion. Frequency of Use: Hyalogin is used once every 3 days for 1 month. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any of the components. Special Instructions: Each applicator is for single use only. In case of vaginal infection, the drug should be prescribed by a doctor. Hyalogin can also be used during menstruation. The product does not affect gynecological examinations. The gel is compatible with condoms during their use. Do not use simultaneously with disinfectants containing ammonium salts, e.g., benzalkonium chloride. Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
