What is it?
Composition: 100ml solution contains: Sodium hyaluronate 0.5g, Cyanocobalamin 0.05g, Taurine 0.5g, Sorbitol, Sodium chloride, Potassium chloride, Magnesium chloride, Sodium phosphate, Sodium dihydrogen phosphate, Water for injection. Usage: Yaluvit is a solution with a high content of sodium hyaluronate (0.5%) which, due to its muco-mimetic and pseudoplastic properties, quickly spreads over the eye surface, forming a visco-elastic protective layer. Therefore, Yaluvit stabilizes the tear film, reducing friction and stress caused by blinking and other eye movements. Cyanocobalamin and taurine (a B vitamin and an amino acid), naturally found in the tissues of the anterior segment of the eye, together with hyaluronic acid, promote the re-epithelialization of the corneal surface. Yaluvit is formulated as a hypotonic solution to compensate for any hyperosmolar condition of the tear film. Thanks to its specific salt composition, it restores and maintains essential ions for the eye surface, such as sodium, potassium, and magnesium, at the desired level. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the components. Precautions: For external use only. When used with other medications, a 10-minute interval between instillations is required. Frequency and duration of use: The frequency of Yaluvit use depends on the patient's eye condition, as determined by an ophthalmologist. 1-2 drops 3-4 times a day, to be instilled into the conjunctival sac. Method of use: To avoid contamination of the product, the foil container must be opened immediately before use, separating the vial and the strip. To open the container, the cap must be removed by turning it, and the patient should instill 1-2 drops into each eye, without touching the dropper to the eye surface and eyelashes. After use, the cap must be quickly replaced on the vial. Yaluvit can be used with contact lenses. Expiration date and storage: Do not use after the expiration date. Store at 2C-25C, out of reach of children. Each container is sealed, allowing for multiple uses of the solution. Since the solution does not contain preservatives, its use is not recommended within 24 hours of opening.
