What is it?
Composition 1 lozenge contains: 100 mg water-based Icelandic moss extract (2-4:1). Other ingredients (excipients): 70% sorbitol solution, non-crystallizing (E 420), aspartame (E 951), acacia (gum arabic), garden mint oil, copper chlorophyllin complex (E 141), light mineral oil, purified water. Indications Infectious-inflammatory diseases of the throat, such as: pharyngitis, laryngitis, including those of allergic origin (dry irritative cough, hoarseness); symptomatic therapy of dry cough in complex therapy for acute and chronic bronchitis and bronchial asthma; Excessive strain on vocal cords (for singers, teachers, lecturers); Dryness and irritation of the oral and pharyngeal mucosa (due to inhalation of dry, insufficiently humidified air in heated rooms during the heating season, in air-conditioned rooms, due to limited nasal breathing, and also during sports competitions). Contraindications In the presence of phenylketonuria, it should be noted that the preparation contains the sweetener aspartame. Not indicated for fructose intolerance. Not indicated in case of known hypersensitivity to any of the preparation's components. Dosage regimen and method of administration For adults and children over 12 years of age, take one lozenge every hour (up to 12 lozenges per day); for children aged 4 to 12 years, take 1 lozenge every 2 hours (up to 6 lozenges per day). The lozenge should be dissolved completely in the mouth. Due to the good tolerability of Isla-Mint, it can be used for a long time without any precautions. Furthermore, even after the disappearance of symptoms, it is recommended to continue using Isla-Mint for a few more days to achieve a stable therapeutic effect. If no improvement in symptoms is observed after 4-5 days, and conversely, if they worsen, accompanied by shortness of breath, chills, and the formation of purulent and bloody sputum, you should immediately consult a doctor.
