Easycol Baby+ Drops Oral Composition: Ingredients: Lactase (45,000 ALU) Excipients: Glycerol; Water; Potassium Chloride; Potassium Sorbate. What is Easycol Baby+? Easycol Baby+ is an enzymatic supplement containing lactase, which acts only on milk. Easycol Baby+ can be used with breast milk and infant formula to facilitate the digestion of lactose, compensating for the temporary deficiency of the lactase enzyme in the first months of life. Easycol Baby+ is a natural and safe drop that reduces discomfort and, consequently, bouts of inconsolable crying. How does Easycol Baby+ work? Easycol Baby+ is a supplement that acts only on lactose present in breast milk or infant formula, which is not absorbed by the body. Easycol Baby+ (lactase enzyme) breaks down lactose into two simple sugars – galactose and glucose, thus promoting better milk digestion. Scientific studies have shown that infants fed milk treated with the lactase enzyme cry significantly less, and this result is explained by improved milk digestion. When to use Easycol Baby+? Easycol Baby+ is a safe product that can be used from the first day of life. Discomfort related to poor lactose digestion usually disappears naturally after 4 months, as the body develops a greater ability to produce endogenous lactase. It is around this time that semi-solid foods (porridges and soups) begin to be introduced into the baby's diet. From this point on, you can gradually reduce the use of Easycol Baby+. However, if discomfort reappears after reducing the dose of Easycol Baby+, it is recommended to continue with the same dose as before. How to use Easycol Baby+? Easycol Baby+ can be used with breast milk and artificial feeding. With breast milk: When feeding with expressed milk: Add the number of drops indicated in the table directly to the milk, mix well, and give to the baby. During lactation: Place the number of drops indicated in the table directly into the baby's mouth with a coffee spoon before breastfeeding. With artificial milk feeding: Add the number of drops indicated in the table to the feed and mix well. Easycol Baby+ does not change the taste of milk and can be added to both hot and cold milk. If you prepare a feeding bottle in advance, simply add 4 drops of Easycol Baby+ and store it in the refrigerator for no more than 4 hours. The table shows the dose of Easycol Baby+ per feeding. In exceptional cases, if your baby experiences severe discomfort, you can gradually increase the dose of Easycol Baby+ by adding one drop per feeding – up to a maximum of 12 drops.
