What is it?
Composition: Ceftriaxone, Sulbactam; Indication: KADERON is used for the treatment of infectious-inflammatory diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to it: Lower respiratory tract infections (including pneumonia); Otorhinolaryngological infections (including otitis media); Skin and soft tissue infections; Intra-abdominal infections (including peritonitis, gastrointestinal tract and biliary tract infections); Bone and joint infections; Kidney and urinary tract infections (pyelonephritis, cystitis, urethritis, prostatitis); Bacterial septicemia; Bacterial meningitis; Inflammatory diseases of the pelvic organs; Sexually transmitted infections; Prevention of infections in surgery. Administration and Dosage: KADERON is administered parenterally: intramuscularly or intravenously. For adults and children over 12 years of age, the daily dose of the drug is: 1-2 g of Ceftriaxone (0.5–1 g of Sulbactam) once a day or divided equally and administered every 12 hours (2 times a day). In severe cases or infections caused by microorganisms moderately sensitive to KADERON, the daily dose of Ceftriaxone can be increased up to 4 g (up to 2 g of Sulbactam). The duration of the treatment course depends on the course of the pathological process. It usually lasts 4-14 days. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to Sulbactam and Ceftriaxone, as well as other cephalosporins, penicillins, and beta-lactam antibiotics; Age up to 1 month; Pregnancy and lactation period. Storage conditions: Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, in a dry, protected from light, and inaccessible place for children.
