Properties

What is it?

Composition Active ingredients: Calcium (Calcium Citrate and Calcium Carbonate) 250 mg, Vitamin D3 50 IU, Zinc (Zinc Oxide) 2 mg, Copper (Copper Oxide) 0.5 mg, Manganese (Manganese Sulfate) 0.5 mg, Boron (Sodium Borate) 50 mcg. Excipients: Soy Polysaccharide, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Colloidal Silicon Dioxide, Sodium Croscarmellose, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Stearic Acid, Magnesium Stearate. Coating: Hypromellose, Triacetin, Mineral Oil, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Titanium Dioxide, Magnesium Silicate. Pharmacological Properties Combined preparation containing vitamins, macro- and microelements. The action is due to the properties of the ingredients included in its composition. Indications for Use Prevention and treatment of osteoporosis of various etiologies Conditions of calcium and vitamin D3 deficiency in the body, associated with malnutrition, or when calcium and cholecalciferol intake from food is insufficient. Increased requirement of calcium and vitamin D3 in the body during pregnancy and lactation, as well as during periods of intensive growth in children over 6 years of age. Dosage and Administration For children aged 6 to 12 years, 1 tablet once daily, during meals. For adults and children over 12 years of age, 1 tablet twice daily, during meals. From the 20th week of pregnancy and throughout the lactation period - 1 tablet 2 times a day. For children under 12 years of age, the dosage regimen should be followed only according to the doctor's recommendations. Duration of Treatment When used for the treatment and prevention of osteoporosis, the duration of treatment is determined individually by the doctor. The average duration of the course of treatment for calcium and vitamin D3 deficiency is at least 4-6 weeks. The number of repeated courses per year is determined individually. Patients with impaired liver function: Dose adjustment is not required. Patients with impaired kidney function: In case of severe kidney damage, Calcemin should not be taken. Elderly patients: The dose is the same as for adults. The possibility of possible decrease in kidney function should be taken into account. Do not stop taking Calcemin without consulting your doctor! Side Effects In rare cases: Gastrointestinal system: constipation or diarrhea, flatulence, nausea, abdominal pain. Metabolism: rarely - hypercalcemia and hypercalciuria. Other: allergic reactions. If side effects occur, inform your doctor. This applies to all possible side effects, including those not listed in the leaflet. Contraindications Hypersensitivity, hypercalcemia (including as a result of hyperparathyroidism (primary or secondary)); hypercalciuria, vitamin D3 hypervitaminosis; nephrolithiasis; decalcifying tumors; myeloma, bone metastases, sarcoidosis; urolithiasis; osteoporosis caused by immobilization; atherosclerosis; hypersensitivity to active and/or excipients; children under 6 years of age.
