What is it?
Calci D-Denk 1000880 mg. Effervescent tablets Calcium Carbonate and Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3) Pharmacological properties: Combined preparation of calcium carbonate and cholecalciferol. Indications: Used as an adjunct in the specific treatment of osteoporosis; for simultaneous treatment of calcium and vitamin D deficiency in the elderly. Contraindications: Do not use if the patient has hypersensitivity to any of the active substances: soy, peanuts, or any ingredient contained in Calci D-Denk; in case of significantly elevated calcium levels in serum and urine, in case of calcium-containing kidney stone formation, during pregnancy it is prescribed only if necessary and in a dose sufficient to correct the deficiency. Dosage and administration: The dose is 1 effervescent tablet once daily. The effervescent tablets should be dissolved in 1 glass of water (200 ml). Calci D-Denk should be taken between meals or with meals. The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor. Side effects: Constipation, gas accumulation, nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea, increased urinary calcium levels, arrhythmia, nausea, vomiting, physiological symptoms, decreased appetite, weight loss. Interactions with other medicines: Patients taking calcium and cardiac glycosides concurrently should be under ECG monitoring and have their serum calcium levels checked frequently.
