Name - Calcimesi #30T1 Tablet contains: Calcium – 500 mg Magnesium – 150 mg Vitamin K - 50 mcg Vitamin D - 10 mcg (400 IU) A combined agent that improves the functioning of the bone and cardiovascular systems, and optimizes bone mineralization. Calcium – responsible for bone mineralization and hormone production, which helps maintain normal levels of calcium and phosphorus in bones and blood. Calcium normalizes energy metabolism and neurotransmission, and is also a regulatory component of blood clotting. Calcium stimulates the release of calcitonin, which ensures the transport of calcium from the blood to damaged bone tissue. Calcium, together with Vitamin D3, helps maintain mineral balance in women during postmenopause and reduces the risk of osteoporosis development. Calcium deficiency leads to the development of rickets and osteomalacia. Calcium deficiency causes muscle spasms, which manifest as cramps in the lower extremities.
