What is it?
Composition: Calcium – 400mg ; Magnesium – 100mg; Zinc – 4mg; Vitamin D3 – 200 IU Calcium: Essential for children to achieve optimal bone mass, and later in life to prevent osteoporosis. Also for the formation of strong teeth. During pregnancy, it helps prevent eclampsia and vasodilation. Magnesium: Plays a role in calcium metabolism. Calcium absorption is facilitated by parathyroid hormone. Magnesium deficiency leads to a decrease in parathyroid hormone levels, which in turn can cause calcium deficiency and hypocalcemia. Magnesium also contributes to the formation of hard tooth enamel. Magnesium deficiency during pregnancy can even lead to spontaneous abortion. Zinc: The growth period involves an important phase, cell division. Zinc is an important cofactor in cell division and the synthesis of many enzymes, and it also participates in DNA and RNA synthesis. Zinc deficiency during pregnancy is associated with many complications, including malformations. Zinc is necessary for the formation of the protein matrix that helps calcium deposition in bones. Vitamin D3: Ensures calcium absorption, mainly from the intestines, reduces its renal excretion, and enhances its intestinal reabsorption. Indications: Calcium and D3 deficiency, increased calcium demand during periods of intensive growth, prevention and treatment of rickets, prevention of osteoporosis. Pregnancy and lactation: Long-term use of steroids and other hormonal preparations. Dosage: 1 or 2 tablets per day, preferably taken with food.
