What is it?
Dosage form: Oral drops and dragees Composition: 100 g of drops contain: 29 g of an aqueous-alcoholic extract obtained from the following medicinal plant raw materials: 1. Centaury herb (Herba Centauri) 0.6 g 2. Lovage root (Radix Levistici) 0.6 g 3. Rosemary leaves (Folia Rosmarini) 0.6 g Ethanol content: 19% (by volume) Additional ingredients: Distilled water. 1 dragee contains the following powdered medicinal plant raw materials: 1. Centaury herb (Herba Centauri) 18 mg 2. Lovage root (Radix Levistici) 18 mg 3. Rosemary leaves (Folia Rosmarini) 18 mg Additional ingredients: Calcium carbonate, dextrin, spray-dried glucose syrup, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, corn starch (pre-gelatinized), montan glycol wax, povidone (25,30), natural castor oil, sucrose, shellac, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, talc; Colorants: Iron (III) oxide (E172), riboflavin (E101), titanium dioxide (E171). Description: Oral drops: Clear or slightly cloudy, yellowish-brown liquid. Dragees: Orange, round, biconvex, and smooth surface. Pharmacological properties: The ingredients in Canephron® N are characterized by diuretic, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties. Indications for use: The preparation is used for the complex treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases of the bladder (cystitis) and kidneys (pyelonephritis), as well as chronic non-infectious kidney diseases (glomerulonephritis, interstitial nephritis), and as an aid in preventing the formation of stones in the urinary tract (also after their expulsion). Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the active substances or additional ingredients of the preparation. Acute peptic ulcer. Method of administration and dosage: Adults: 50 drops or 2 dragees 3 times a day; School-aged children: 25 drops or 1 dragee 3 times a day; Children from 1 year of age: 15 drops 3 times a day; After the acute phase of the illness, treatment with Canephron® N should be continued for 2 to 4 weeks. If necessary, for example, to reduce its bitter taste in children, the drops can be taken with other liquids. Dragees should be taken without chewing, with a small amount of water. Special instructions: Canephron® N dragees are not recommended for children under 6 years of age, and Canephron® N oral drops are not recommended for children under 1 year of age. Storage conditions: Store in a dry place, protected from light, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
