What is it?
For short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain Read the instructions for use carefully before taking this medicine as it contains important information for patients. Keep the instructions, as you may need to re-read them during treatment. If you have any further questions or experience any side effects, consult your doctor or pharmacist. If you do not notice any improvement or your condition worsens, consult your doctor: after 3 days if you are an adolescent; after 3 days during treatment if you have a high body temperature, and after 5 days for pain treatment if you are an adult. Indications: This medicine is used for short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain in adults and adolescents over 16 years of age, such as: headache; toothache; menstrual pain; pain after minor sprains, muscle, ligament, and tendon injuries. Contraindications: Do not take this medicine if: you are allergic to ketoprofen or any of the other ingredients of this medicine; if you have had allergic reactions in the past to acetylsalicylic acid or analgesics such as ketoprofen, ibuprofen or diclofenac, such as: bronchial asthma, difficulty breathing; swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat; hives, runny nose with itching; other allergic reactions; if you have ever had bronchial asthma; you have a peptic ulcer or have ever had gastrointestinal bleeding, ulceration or perforation in the past; you have inflammatory bowel disease, such as ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease; you have severe heart failure; you have severe kidney or liver dysfunction; you are prone to bleeding; you are in the third trimester of pregnancy; you are under 16 years of age. Recommended dosage: Adults and adolescents over 16 years of age: KETOPROFEN EXTRA PLUS: 25mg ketoprofen 1-3 times a day or 50mg ketoprofen 1-2 times a day. Half of a double sachet provides a dose of 25mg ketoprofen, and a whole double sachet provides 50mg ketoprofen. The interval between doses should be at least 8 hours. The possibility of side effects should be reduced by using the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary to control symptoms. Do not exceed the recommended dose or duration of treatment.
