What is it?

Composition: Ketoprofen Indications for use: Ketoprofen is a non-steroidal anti-rheumatic drug with anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic action. Indications for use Pain: - Post-operative - Painful menstruation - Pain in patients with tumors resulting from bone metastases - Post-traumatic Rheumatic diseases: - Rheumatoid arthritis - Spondyloarthritis (ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, reactive arthritis) - Gout, pseudogout - Osteoarthritis - Extra-articular rheumatism (tendinitis, bursitis, shoulder joint capsulitis) Recommended dosage Adults and children over 15 years of age: Maximum 200 mg per day. It is recommended not to administer injections for more than 3 days. Upon achieving a satisfactory response, Ketonals are prescribed for oral administration. Contraindications - Hypersensitivity to ketoprofen or any of the excipients of the preparation - History of bronchial asthma, urticaria, rhinitis, bronchospasm, or allergic-type reactions after the use of ketoprofen or similarly acting substances, such as other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or salicylates (e.g., acetylsalicylic acid) - Severe heart failure - Pain treatment in the post-operative period during coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) surgery - Peptic ulcer in the active phase, as well as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulceration, or perforation in the history - Gastrointestinal, cerebrovascular, or other active bleeding - Chronic dyspepsia in the history - Severe renal impairment - Severe hepatic impairment - Tendency to bleed - Last trimester of pregnancy - Children under 15 years of age - Blood clotting disorders or ongoing treatment with anticoagulants
