What is it?
International Nonproprietary Name (Active Substance): enoxaparin sodium Clinical-Pharmacological Group: Hemostasis → Antithrombotic and Anticoagulant Agents → Direct-Acting Anticoagulants Indications: - Prevention of venous thromboembolism in surgical interventions with moderate or high thrombogenic risks - Prevention of deep vein thrombosis in bedridden patients with acute therapeutic conditions: heart failure (NYHA class III and IV), acute respiratory failure, acute infectious or rheumatic diseases, with at least one additional risk factor for venous thromboembolism - Prevention of thrombosis during extracorporeal circulation in hemodialysis (procedure lasts on average 4 hours) - Treatment of diagnosed deep vein thrombosis, with or without pulmonary embolism, and without severe clinical symptoms (except for pulmonary embolism requiring treatment with thrombolytic agents or surgery) - Treatment of unstable angina and acute myocardial infarction without Q wave in combination with acetylsalicylic acid - Treatment of acute myocardial infarction with ST-segment elevation in combination with thrombolytic agents in patients who may subsequently undergo coronary angioplasty or do not require this procedure Contraindications: - Hypersensitivity to enoxaparin, heparin, or its derivatives, including other low molecular weight heparins - History of severe heparin-induced thrombocytopenia type II caused by unfractionated or low molecular weight heparin - Hemorrhages or predisposition to bleeding associated with hemostasis disorders (this contraindication can be excluded if disseminated intravascular coagulation syndrome not related to heparin treatment is observed) - Organic lesions of organs with a predisposition to bleeding - Active clinically significant bleeding - Active peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum - In patients using heparin for treatment, not prophylaxis, local anesthesia is not used during planned surgical interventions Pharmacy Dispensing Conditions: Pharmaceutical Product Group II, dispensed with prescription form #3
