Properties

What is it?

Composition: Each ampoule as an active substance contains: Sodium diclofenac 75 mg. Excipients: Propylene glycol, sodium metabisulfite, benzyl alcohol, mannitol, sodium hydroxide, hydrochloric acid, water for injection. Pharmacotherapeutic group: Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory and antirheumatic agents. Acetic acid derivatives. Indications: Rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, Bechterew's disease, spondyloarthropathies, spondyloarthroses, osteoarthritis; pain syndrome of the spine; rheumatic diseases of the periarticular soft tissues; acute gouty arthritis; neuralgia; primary dysmenorrhea, inflammation of the uterus and uterine appendages, fever in infectious-inflammatory diseases of the ENT organs; post-traumatic and post-operative pain with inflammation and swelling; migraine; renal and biliary colic. Dosage and administration: Dosage and duration of treatment are determined by the attending physician, taking into account the severity and characteristics of the disease. The solution is used immediately after opening the ampoule. Intramuscular injection - 75 mg per day in the upper outer quadrant of the gluteal muscle. In severe cases, the dose may be increased to 2 injections per day. Several hours interval should be maintained between injections. The total daily dose on the first day should not exceed 175 mg. Intravenous infusion - the solution cannot be injected intravenously at once. The preparation should be diluted in 0.9% sodium chloride or 5% dextrose solution. The solution should not be used if crystals or precipitate are observed. For the treatment of moderate and severe post-operative pain - 75 mg administered intravenously continuously for 30 minutes to 2 hours. The dose should not exceed 150 mg in any 24-hour period. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to diclofenac or any component of the preparation; peptic ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum; high risk of post-operative bleeding, blood hypocoagulation, disorders of hemostasis and hemopoiesis, or cerebral hemorrhage; treatment of post-operative pain after aortocoronary bypass surgery; third trimester of pregnancy; age under 18 years. Pregnancy and lactation: Not used in the third trimester of pregnancy. For the first and second trimesters, consult a doctor before taking the preparation. Storage conditions: Store at a temperature not exceeding 25C, out of reach of children. Shelf life: 3 years. Conditions of dispensing from pharmacy: Over-the-counter.
