What is it?
International Nonproprietary Name (Active Substance): clomiphene citrate Clinical-Pharmacological Group: Endocrinology → Agents affecting pituitary hormone production → Stimulators of gonadotropic hormone production Duinum Indications: . Infertility caused by hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian dysfunction and ovulation stimulation. . Anovulation associated with polycystic ovary syndrome. Do not take Duinum in the following cases: - If you are allergic to clomiphene or any other ingredients of Duinum (listed in section 6); signs of an allergic reaction include: rash, difficulty swallowing or breathing, swelling of the lips, face, throat, or tongue; - If you have or have had liver disease; - If you have unusual menstrual bleeding of unknown cause; - If you have any form of hormone-dependent cancer; - If you have ovarian cysts; - If you are pregnant; a test is required before taking clomiphene to ensure you are not pregnant. Do not take the medication if any of the above applies to you. Before starting treatment with Duinum, your doctor needs to check for other causes of infertility. Pregnancy and Breastfeeding If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or suspect you may be pregnant, consult your doctor before taking the medication. How to take Duinum In the first stage of treatment, take one tablet daily from the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th day of the cycle for 5 days. Keep the medication out of reach of children.
