What is it?
Composition: Clotrimazole Pharmacological property: Antifungal agent. Indication: For infections caused by dermatophytes, yeasts, molds, ringworms, athlete's foot, fungal diseases of the skin and skin folds, fungal nail disease, fungal rash, intertrigo, and chafing-induced skin inflammation. For external use only. Contraindication: Clotrimazole cream should not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to clotrimazole or cetostearyl alcohol. As a precaution, it should not be used in early pregnancy. Dosage and administration: Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, apply the cream in a thin layer to the affected area 2-3 times a day and rub in. Side effects: Skin reactions, such as burning or stinging sensation, may occur. Interaction with other medicines: Clotrim-Denk 1% cream reduces the effectiveness of amphotericin and other polyene antibiotics (nystatin, natamycin).
