What is it?
Composition: Each 5ml of syrup contains: Dill oil (Anethum Graveolens) 2.5mg; Caraway oil (Carum Carvi) 0.025mg; Cinnamon oil (Cinnamomum Zeylanicum) 0.015mg; Cardamom oil (Ellettaria Cardamomum) 0.02mg; Clove oil (Eugenia Caryophyllata) 0.5mg. Excipients: Purified water, Citric acid monohydrate, Polysorbate 80, Preservatives (Potassium sorbate, Sodium benzoate), Cherry flavoring, Sweetener (Sodium saccharin). The preparation does not contain parabens or alcohol. Indications: Flatulence; Dyspeptic symptoms (nausea, vomiting); Gastrointestinal spasms; Hiccups, belching; Biliary tract spasms and dyskinesia; Food regurgitation; Colitis with constipation; In the pre-preparation period for abdominal cavity examinations (X-ray, ultrasound, gastroscopy); As an antifoaming agent in poisoning with detergents (surfactants). Contraindications: The preparation should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to any of the components. Dosage and administration: Children 0–2 months: 2.5ml 3 times daily; Children 2–12 months: 5ml 3 times daily; Children 12–24 months: 10ml 3 times daily; Children over 24 months: 15ml 3 times daily; Colispas is taken during or after meals. Preparation for examinations: 5ml Colispas 3 times per day 24 hours before the examination and 10ml Colispas on the morning of the examination day. As an additive to syrup for contrast agents: 10-20ml Colispas per 1 liter of contrast agent for double contrast imaging. In case of poisoning with detergents, as an antidote (intoxication with surfactants): Depending on the severity of poisoning, 5-25ml Colispas is prescribed for children. 25-50ml (contents of the vial) Colispas is prescribed for adults. Side effects: Individual hypersensitivity to any component. If any side effects occur, including those not listed in this instruction, consult your doctor or pharmacist. The preparation does not contain sugar, therefore it can be used by patients with diabetes mellitus. Shelf life and storage: Store in a dry, cool, dark place inaccessible to children, at a temperature below 25C. Shelf life is 3 years from the date of manufacture. Do not use after the expiry date! Dosage form: Syrup, 150ml, in a glass bottle, with a graduated measuring cup and instructions for use, placed in a cardboard box. Description: Pink colored syrup with cherry flavor.
