What is it?
Composition: 1 capsule contains: Active ingredients: - Tribulus terrestris herba dry extract 250 mg, standardized to contain 132 mg furostanol saponins - Humulus lupulus L., strobuli dry standardized (4-6:1) extract 50 mg, containing 300 mg of plant material - Vitex agnus-castus, fruits dry standardized (6-6.5:1) extract 10 mg, containing 60 mg of plant material - Glycyrrhiza glabra radix dry standardized (3:1) extract 150 mg, containing 450 mg of plant material Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose filler, silicon dioxide disintegrant Indications: Tribulus terrestris extract mainly contains furostanol-type steroidal saponins. It has a stimulating effect on certain functions of the reproductive system and exhibits a general tonic effect. Tribulus terrestris extract is characterized by a hypolipidemic effect and reduces low-density lipoproteins and total cholesterol levels in patients with lipo-proteinemia. Flavonoids, hormones, and vitamins contained in Humulus lupulus L., strobuli extract contribute to its anti-inflammatory, anti-ulcer, capillary-strengthening, hypomasensibilizing, and analgesic properties. The neurotropic effect of hop cone extract is due to the presence of lupulin, which, in turn, has a calming effect on the central nervous system. The primary action of Vitex agnus-castus, fruits is the normalization of sex hormone levels. It exhibits dopaminergic activity, which leads to a decrease in prolactin production, thereby regulating the hormonal balance in the second phase of the menstrual cycle. Prolactin also has a direct stimulating effect on proliferative processes in the mammary gland, enhances connective tissue formation, and causes dilation of the mammary ducts. A decrease in prolactin content leads to the regression of pathological processes in the mammary gland and relieves pain syndrome. A significant pharmacological property of Glycyrrhiza glabra radix roots is its pronounced anti-inflammatory effect, which manifests as a peculiar inhibition of inflammatory reactions caused by histamine, serotonin, and bradykinin. The anti-inflammatory effect of the plant is due not so much to glycyrrhizin itself, but to the action of glycyrrhizic acid, which is released during the hydrolysis of glycyrrhizin. Glycyrrhizic acid undergoes metabolic changes in the body and exhibits corticosteroid-like effects. This pharmacological property of the plant is considered significant.
