Name - Coriva 18mcg Inhal.#30CapsWhat is Coriva and what is it used for Coriva contains tiotropium bromide monohydrate in the form of particles of powder suitable for oral inhalation Coriva is presented on the market in a package containing 30 capsules and a specially designed monodose inhaler for capsule use Tiotropium is a long-acting bronchodilator, often referred to as an anticholinergic in clinical medicine It helps to open the airways and facilitates the passage of air into and out of the lungs Pregnancy Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medication You should not use this medicine during pregnancy unless specifically advised by your doctor If you discover that you are pregnant during treatment, consult your doctor or pharmacist immediately Breastfeeding Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medication You should not use this medicine during breastfeeding unless specifically advised by your doctor Method of administration and method The recommended dose is oral inhalation with 1 capsule (18 micrograms of tiotropium) per day Do not take more than the recommended dose Do not swallow the capsules The inhaler into which you insert the Coriva capsule pierces the capsule and allows you to inhale the powder Do not repeat the piercing more than once This can cause the capsule to burst and be inhaled Your inhaler should be with you and you should learn how to use it correctly Instructions for using the inhaler are provided on the back of this patient information leaflet Do not blow into the inhaler If you have any problems using the inhaler, ask your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist to show you how the device works How to store Coriva Keep Coriva out of the reach of children and in its packaging Store at room temperature below 25°C
