Properties

What is it?

Composition Sodium heparin/prednisolone acetate/lauromacrogol 400 Indications: - External and internal hemorrhoids - Thrombophlebitis of anal hemorrhoidal veins - Fistulas, eczema, and itching in the anal area - Anal fissures - Preparation for surgical intervention in the anorectal area - As part of complex therapy for thrombosed or operated hemorrhoids Dosage: For external use, apply a thin layer of ointment 2 times a day to the affected areas after defecation. In case of severe symptoms, the ointment can be used 4 times a day only on the first day of treatment. After the disappearance of painful sensations, use 1 time a day for 7 days. To administer the ointment rectally, use the applicator, which is screwed onto the tube and inserted into the rectum. Then, by gently pressing the tube, a small amount of ointment is expelled. After each use, the applicator must be disinfected and placed in its protective cap. If the condition does not improve, consult a doctor. Contraindications: Do not use Crepitan: - If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substances or any other component of the preparation (listed in section 6 of the package insert) - If you have bacterial, viral, or fungal skin lesions - If you have tuberculosis - If you have syphilis - If you have skin cancer (anorectal zone) - If you have an increased tendency to bleed - If you have a reaction to vaccination - During the first trimester of pregnancy - In children under 12 years of age Pregnancy and lactation: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, suspect you are pregnant, or plan to become pregnant, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this preparation. Crepitan is contraindicated in the first trimester of pregnancy. Use in the second and third trimesters of pregnancy and during lactation is possible only in cases of extreme necessity, after careful assessment of the expected benefit to the mother versus the potential risk to the fetus/child. Storage conditions: Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Do not freeze.
