What is it?
International Nonproprietary Name - acidum ribonucleinicum duplicatum Clinical-pharmacological group: Immunology → Immunomodulators → Interferons Composition: Active substance: LARIFAN – double-stranded ribonucleic acid (dsRNA) – 1.5 mg/pessary Other substances: cocoa butter, lanolin, sodium chloride, methylparahydroxybenzoate, propylparahydroxybenzoate, distilled water. Pharmacological group: Antiviral agent, immunomodulator Indications: "LARIFAN PESO 1.5 mg" is used in complex and monotherapy for: ● Cervical mucosal dysplasias (CIN I, CIN II) ● Viral and bacterial infections of the genitourinary tract ● Non-specific vaginitis ● To reduce the risk of sexually transmitted diseases ● To alleviate the consequences caused by sexually transmitted diseases Contraindications: High sensitivity to the components of the preparation. Side effects: No undesirable side effects have been identified. Use during pregnancy and lactation: Consult a doctor. Dosage and administration: For cervical dysplasia, "LARIFAN PESO 1.5 mg" is used every 2nd or 3rd day, 6-10 times. Depending on the results, the course of treatment is repeated 1-2 times. For the treatment of herpetic process, "LARIFAN PESO 1.5 mg" is recommended for 10 consecutive days, with 3-5 pessaries repeated after two menstrual cycles. For vaginal mucosal irritation and pain (non-specific vaginitis), it is recommended to insert 1 pessary vaginally daily for 5-10 days. For prophylactic purposes, use "LARIFAN PESO 1.5 mg" pessaries vaginally at a rate of 1 pessary per week for 5 weeks. Overdose: No clinical cases of overdose have been identified. Interaction with other drugs: No significant interactions with other drugs have been identified. Dosage form and composition: 5 pessaries of 1.5 mg in a package with instructions for use.
