What is it?
International Nonproprietary Name - acidum ribonucleinicum duplicatum Clinical-pharmacological group: Immunology → Immunomodulators → Interferons Composition: Active substance: LARIFAN – double-stranded ribonucleic acid (dsRNA) lyophilized, 2 mg per package. Other substances: 0.9% sodium chloride. Pharmacological group: Antiviral agent, immunomodulator Indication: Used to reduce the risk of respiratory viral infections (including influenza), in pre-epidemic and epidemic periods. Especially recommended for people who have contact with sick individuals. Recommended for inflammation of the oral and upper respiratory tract mucosa (stomatitis of various origins, rhinitis, sore throat). Contraindication: High sensitivity to the components of the preparation. Side effects: No undesirable side effects have been identified. Use during pregnancy and lactation: As prescribed by a doctor. Method of administration and dosage: For prophylaxis of respiratory viral infections in healthy individuals, spray the diluted contents of the "LARIFAN SPRAY 0.02%" bottle deep into the oral cavity and/or nose 1-2 times a day. For individuals in contact with sick people - 3-5 times a day. At the first symptoms of illness – cough, blocked airways, rhinitis, hoarseness – spraying should be done 3-5 times a day for 2-4 days. For inflammation and pain in the oral cavity and throat, 3-5 times a day. To ensure antiviral protection, the daily dose should not exceed 0.6 – 1.0 mg of the active substance, which corresponds to 1/3 to 1/2 of the contents of the diluted glass bottle. Overdose: No clinical cases of overdose have been identified. Interaction with other medicinal products: No significant interactions with other medicinal products have been identified. Dosage form and composition: The "LARIFAN SPRAY 0.02%" kit includes an aerosol bottle with a dispenser and a capsule containing 0.9% NaCl. Shelf life: The shelf life of "LARIFAN SPRAY 0.02%" is 3 years. Do not use the preparation after the expiry date.
