Indication: Lindinette 20 tablets are a combined oral contraceptive containing synthetic hormones of the follicle and corpus luteum, which prevent egg maturation. Dosage: One tablet is prescribed daily for 21 days from the first day of menstruation, preferably at the same time each day. Then, a 7-day break is taken, during which menstrual-like bleeding occurs. The next 21 tablets are started on the 8th day (after the 7-day break), even if bleeding continues. That is, the first tablet from the second pack is taken on the same day of the week as the first tablet from the first pack. Bleeding during menstruation is usually lighter, which is normal for such cases. First Tablet Before starting oral contraceptives, the patient should wait for her menstrual cycle. In the meantime, it is recommended to use another method of contraception: condoms, diaphragms, spermicidal gel. The first Lindinette 20 tablet is taken on the first day of menstruation. Switching from Other Contraceptives to Lindinette 20 Tablets: After finishing the previous contraceptive, a break is taken, and then on the first day of bleeding that occurs during the break, the first Lindinette 20 tablet is taken. Switching from "mini" pills to Lindinette tablets can be done on any day of the menstrual cycle. During the first 7 days, in addition to Lindinette 20, the patient should use another method of contraception. Use of Lindinette 20 After Abortion in the First Trimester of Pregnancy: It is recommended to start taking Lindinette tablets after abortion as directed by a doctor. No additional contraceptive methods are necessary. Use of Lindinette 20 After Childbirth or Abortion in the Second Trimester of Pregnancy: Lindinette 20 tablets can be started 21-28 days after abortion or childbirth. If started later, additional barrier methods of contraception are required. If sexual intercourse precedes the start of tablet intake, pregnancy must be ruled out before starting oral contraceptives, or tablet intake should be postponed until the next menstruation. If the patient misses a scheduled tablet, it should be taken within the first 12 hours, and subsequent tablets should be taken according to the usual schedule. If more than 12 hours have passed since taking the last tablet, the contraceptive effect is reduced. In such cases, it is not necessary to take the missed tablet, and intake continues as usual, but additional contraceptive methods should be used for the next 7 days. If there are fewer than 7 tablets left in the pack, a new pack should be started without a 7-day break. Uterine bleeding will begin after finishing the next pack, although intermenstrual bleeding may occur. If uterine bleeding does not occur after finishing the next pack, a doctor should be informed. If vomiting occurs 3-4 hours after taking a tablet and the tablet has not been fully absorbed, the patient should act as if a tablet was missed.
