What is it?
Saccharomyces boulardii capsules promote gastrointestinal health. Composition: DIAFLORA 250: Each capsule contains 250 mg Saccharomyces boulardii (equiv. 5 billion CFU). Usage: • Promotes gastrointestinal tract health • Supports the immune system • Promotes the activity of beneficial bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract • Promotes a healthy balance of intestinal flora Dosage and administration: Adults: 250-500 mg Biogut (Saccharomyces boulardii) 2-4 times daily for adults. Children: For children over three months of age, two doses of 250 mg per day for five days are recommended. For children under three months of age, it is recommended to take one 250 mg capsule twice daily for five days. Or as directed by a physician. Side effects: Saccharomyces boulardii is likely safe for most adults when taken for up to one month. It may cause gas in some individuals. Rarely, it may cause fungal infections. Contraindications: Contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Saccharomyces boulardii or other components of this product. Precautions: Individuals with yeast allergies may be allergic to products containing Saccharomyces boulardii and should avoid these products. Use during lactation and pregnancy: There is no information on the safety of taking Saccharomyces boulardii during lactation and pregnancy. Consultation with a doctor is necessary if needed during lactation and pregnancy. Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, protected from children and direct sunlight.
