What is it?
International Nonproprietary Name - Lysozyme+Cetylpiridonium+Lidocaine Medical Product Trade Name: Lysobact Complete, Spray International or Group Name: Lysozyme Hydrochloride + Cetylpyridinium Chloride + Lidocaine Hydrochloride. Pharmaceutical Form: Spray for topical use. Qualitative and Quantitative Composition: 1 ml of spray for topical use contains: Active Ingredients: Lysozyme Hydrochloride - 20.0 mg (equivalent to 800,000 FIP [Federation Internationale Pharmaceutique units]) Cetylpyridinium Chloride - 1.50 mg Lidocaine Hydrochloride - 0.50 mg Excipients: Glycerin 85%, Propylene Glycol, Methyl Parahydroxybenzoate, Propyl Parahydroxybenzoate, Mint Flavor, Sodium Hydroxide, Water. Appearance: Colorless or slightly yellowish solution with mint flavor. Pharmacotherapeutic Group: Antiseptics. Therapeutic Indications Infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx: • Local treatment of acute inflammatory diseases of the oral and pharyngeal mucosa, such as gingivitis (gum disease), stomatitis (inflammation of the oral mucosa), and aphthae (presence of small ulcers on the oral mucosa). • As part of complex therapy for sore throat and difficulty swallowing, inflammation of the pharynx and larynx. • In the pre-operative and post-operative periods of tonsillectomy, surgical intervention on the larynx, during trauma and abscess, and after tooth extraction, according to doctor's recommendations. Contraindications Hypersensitivity to the components of the product. Hypersensitivity to chicken egg protein. Children under 6 years of age. Method of Administration and Dosage It is recommended that the bottle be used by only one patient. Before first use, remove the plastic protective cap from the dispenser. Then, attach the dispenser to the nozzle with light pressure. The dispenser can be moved sideways, allowing for adequate distribution of the spray over the entire oral mucosa. The dispenser should be raised at a right angle to the bottle. Before using the spray for the first time, several actuations of the activator are required to maintain the sprayed liquid at a uniform level. The patient should open their mouth wide, direct the dispenser towards the affected area, and press the activator several times according to the recommended dosage. The patient should be able to hold their breath during the spraying of the product. The product should not be swallowed. After using the product, the dispenser should be tilted, which will result in its locking to prevent spraying. Dosage Adults and children from 6 years of age To achieve a single dose, press the activator five times. The procedure can be repeated 3-6 times a day with at least 2-hour intervals. A single activation releases 0.20 ml of solution containing 4 mg of lysozyme, 0.3 mg of cetylpyridinium, and 0.1 mg of lidocaine hydrochloride. Children under 6 years of age: Lysobact Complete Spray is not intended for use in children under 6 years of age. Duration of Use It is not recommended to use for more than 5 days, depending on the therapeutic indications.
