International Nonproprietary Name - lysozyme, pyridoxine Clinical-pharmacological group: Antiseptic agents → Antiseptic agents for topical use Composition Lizobact® two oritablets contain: Lysozyme chloride 20.0 mg Pyridoxine chloride 10.0 mg Lizobact® oritablets contain the following excipients: lactose, tragacanth, sodium saccharin, magnesium stearate, vanillin. Indications Lizobact® oritablets are used for gingivitis, stomatitis, herpetic sores, erosive ulcerative lesions of the oropharyngeal mucosa, and diseases of bacterial and traumatic etiology. Lizobact® oritablets contain lysozyme and pyridoxine. Lizobact® oritablets are a mucopolysaccharide that acts on gram-positive bacteria, potentially converting insoluble polysaccharide from cell walls into soluble mucopeptides. It also acts similarly on gram-negative bacteria, viruses, and fungi. It has a local anti-inflammatory effect and increases the body's non-specific resistance. Pyridoxine protects the oral mucosa. It has an anti-ulcer effect. Dosage and Administration Take as directed. If you believe the medication is acting weakly or too strongly on your body, consult your doctor. Instructions for use of the medication: For oral use. Dosage: Adults: Usually take 2 oritablets 3-4 times a day. The oritablet dissolves easily in the mouth. Keep the dissolved residue in your mouth for as long as possible. Treatment lasts for 8 days. Treatment can be extended if necessary. Children: Children aged 7-12 years usually take one oritablet 3-4 times a day. Note: Do not swallow the oritablet. When Lizobact® oritablets are used with antimicrobial agents, their therapeutic activity increases. Side Effects Like all medications, Lizobact® oritablets may have certain side effects. However, the medication is well tolerated and rarely causes allergic reactions. Pregnancy and Lactation Consult your doctor before using the medication. The medication can be used during pregnancy and lactation. This medication does not affect driving or operating machinery. Special Instructions - If allergic reactions occur, discontinue the medication immediately.
