The preparation is characterized by high efficacy and good taste. Maalox does not cause constipation. It is used as an adsorbent, coating, and antacid agent for increased stomach acid acidity. Maalox relieves pain in the upper gastrointestinal tract for several hours. Indications: Acute and chronic gastritis; Esophageal hernia; Gastric and duodenal ulcer disease; Gastric discomfort in case of dietary indiscretion, medication intake, abuse of coffee, nicotine, and alcoholic beverages. Dosage and Administration: - Maalox is mainly prescribed 1-1.5 hours after meals or in case of pain. - Take 1-2 tablets of Maalox. It is necessary to chew the tablet or keep it in the mouth until completely dissolved. - Maalox suspension is taken in a dose of 15-16 ml (1 tablespoon or 1 sachet). Shake the bottle before use or rub the sachet with your fingers to homogenize the suspension. Transfer the contents of the sachet to a spoon or directly into the mouth. For children from 4 months to 1 year: 1/2 teaspoon per dose; For children over 1 year: 1 teaspoon per dose. If necessary, an additional dose can be taken 2 hours after the previous dose, but not more than 6 doses per day. Side Effects: Associated with aluminum hydroxide: Prolonged use of high doses of Maalox may lead to a sharp decrease in phosphorus reserves in the body.

Препарат характеризуется высокой эффективностью и хорошим вкусом. Маалокс не вызывает запоров. Используется как маадсорбирующее, обволакивающее и антацидное средство при повышенной кислотности желудочного сока. Маалокс на несколько часов купирует боль в верхних отделах пищеварительного тракта. Показания: Острый и хронический гастрит; Грыжа пищеводного отверстия диафрагмы; Язвенная болезнь желудка и двенадцатиперстной кишки; Дискомфорт в желудке при нарушениях диеты, приеме лекарств, злоупотреблении кофе, никотином и алкогольными напитками. Способ применения и дозировка: - Маалокс в основном назначают через 1-1.5 часа после еды или при боли. - Маалокс принимают по 1-2 таблетки. Необходимо разжевать таблетку или подержать во рту до полного рассасывания. - Маалокс в виде суспензии принимают по 15-16 мл (1 столовая ложка или 1 пакетик). Перед употреблением флакон следует встряхнуть или пакетик размять пальцами, чтобы суспензия стала гомогенной. Содержимое пакетика перенести на ложку или в рот. Детям от 4 месяцев до 1 года: 1/2 чайной ложки на прием; Детям старше 1 года: 1 чайная ложка на прием. При необходимости возможно дополнительное принятие дозы через 2 часа после предыдущего приема, но не более 6 приемов в сутки. Побочные эффекты: Связаны с алюминия гидроксидом: при длительном применении Маалокса в высоких дозах возможно резкое снижение запасов фосфора в организме.
