What is it?
International Name - Agnus castus+Caulophyllum thalictroides Composition: 100 grams of drops contain: Vitex Agnus castus D1 (Chaste tree) 20g Caulophyllum thalictroides D4 (Pulsatilla) 10g Cyclamen purpurascens D4 (Cyclamen) 10g Iris versicolor D6 (Iris) 10g Strychnos Ignatia D2 (Ignatia) 20g Lilium tigrinum D3 (Tiger Lily) 10g Ethanol content: 53% (by volume) Description: Clear, pale yellow solution with a sweetish odor; initially sweetish in taste, then sharply bitter. Indications for use: Used in complex therapy as symptomatic treatment for the following conditions: - Premenstrual syndrome (breast tenderness, mood swings, constipation, swelling, headache/migraine) - Cyclical mastodynia - Mastopathy - Menstrual cycle disorders Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to Vitex agnus castus and/or Caulophyllum thalictroides and/or Cyclamen purpurascens and/or Stychnos ignatia and/or Iris versicolor and/or Lilium tigrinum or any additional ingredient of the preparation. Usage and dosage: Take 30 drops twice a day (morning and evening) dissolved in a small amount of water or other liquid. The course of treatment with Mastodynon® is at least 3 months continuously, including during menstruation. Improvement is generally observed within 6 weeks. If symptoms recur after discontinuation of treatment, treatment should be continued after consulting a doctor. Shake before use! Side effects: Based on available data, the frequency of the following side effects cannot be assessed: - Severe allergic reactions with facial swelling, shortness of breath, and difficulty swallowing - Allergic skin reactions (redness and hives), acne - Headache and dizziness - Gastrointestinal disorders (nausea, abdominal pain) - Menstrual cycle disorders Discontinue taking Mastodynon® drops immediately at the first sign of hypersensitivity/allergic reaction. Please consult your doctor or pharmacist if any side effect becomes severe or if you notice any side effect not listed in the instructions for use. Pregnancy and lactation: Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medication. The preparation is not indicated for use during pregnancy. According to reproductive research data, the fruit extract of Vitex Agnus castus may have a negative impact on lactation. Mastodynon® oral drops are not permitted during pregnancy and lactation.
