International Nonproprietary Name - Extr. Agnus castus, Dioscorea Villosa *Composition: Vitex Agnus Castus Extract 10%, Indole-3-Carbinol 1%, Wild Yam Extract 10%. Excipients: Triethanolamine, Glycerin, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Phenoxyethanol. Mastocare is a special set of plants that helps normalize mammary gland function, reduce feelings of tightness, and prevent mastopathic changes. Vitex Agnus Castus is one of the best-studied plants. In 1997, a German research group conducted a double-blind, placebo-controlled study in which Vitex was more effective in managing PMS (breast tenderness, swelling, headache, constipation, depression, skin problems) than vitamin B6, which is commonly used to treat PMS. Another study showed that 90% of 1542 participating women experienced relief from PMS symptoms.
