Indications: - Chronic viral hepatitis. Subacute, persistent, and active chronic forms, rehabilitation period after acute viral hepatitis; chronic hepatitis of non-viral etiology. - Liver cirrhosis of various etiologies (as a component of complex therapy). - Post-infectious and toxic hepatitis; drug-induced liver damage and during the period of taking hepatotoxic drugs (specifically, some psychotropic, chemotherapeutic, anti-tuberculosis, oral contraceptives, paracetamol, some antibiotics, immunosuppressants, and anesthetics) and prophylaxis. - Diabetic and alcoholic polyneuropathy. - Hepatic encephalopathy. - Diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system. - Liver dystrophy and diseases associated with impaired fat metabolism, including steatosis (fatty hepatosis). - Liver damage associated with alcohol consumption, including in patients with chronic alcoholism, and in cases of acute ethyl alcohol intoxication. Abstinence syndrome. - Acute and chronic cholecystitis, cholangitis, hypokinetic form of biliary dyskinesia. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation. Age under 12 years, pregnancy and lactation. Side Effects: No serious side reactions have been noted with prolonged intake of high doses of Melorna. No dependence has developed with the use of the preparation. May cause sleep-wake disturbances in some patients. In such cases, it may be necessary to take sedatives before sleep. Heartburn and unpleasant sensations in the epigastric region may be noted, which do not require discontinuation of treatment. Dosage and Administration: Melorna is taken 1 tablet 1-2 times a day after meals. The duration of therapy depends on the severity and course of the disease and is determined individually by the doctor. Interaction with Other Drugs: No interactions with other drugs have been described.
